This is my 1st week of weaning. while I was breastfeeding, I wouldn't know how much milk my ds took. Now with formula, as I add my sums up, I find that he is only taking about 400ml of formula, and 100ml of ebm, then 2 solids totaling about 1/2 cup for the whole day. Is this enough for him? he's on 5 feeds in 24 hours, 4 during the day, 1 at midnight dream feed.I always offer about 150ml per feed, but he'd take anything btwn 40ml to 100ml. If I'm lucky, I'd get 130ml into him. Other bubs in my mothers' group seem to take 240ml per feed, 4 feeds a day. That sounds like an astronomical figure to us.
